Well we got through
the opening day and I feel everyone did a great job. All the games
were covered and started on time. The new referees made it through
their first games with out being killed or dieing from being too
nervous. I am very proud of the new referees and kudos to the
seasoned vets for doing a great job. I have had no complaints and
even a couple of complements.
There is one change
that I want to bring to everyone's attention and that on field 5 the
numbering is different than what we had originally planned. 5
A&B are now for the U7 and C&D are for U8. So 5A U7 Girls 5B
U7 Boys 5C U8 Girls and 5D U8 Boys. I hope everyone is as confused
as I am now, we will work it out at the fields.
We will have a
referee meeting on Thursday March 1 at Blue Sky 7 pm. If we are
lucky I may even have your checks from the two weekends of games. I
will have goodies to raffle off for those who attend and for those who
attended the pre-season meetings you get an extra ticket to
win.
If any one found a
Grade 9 referee badge Saturday pleas let me know. I was blown away
in the wind (imagine that).
Thank you once
again for doing a great job on the opening weekend and letting all those
little munchkins to have some fun too.

The system is now open for the next two
weekends. Most of the games are U5-8 but there are a few U9 and
above. Inter City has not finished the schedule for the older ages
(U11 +) and they will be in the system soon we hope.
